Wilmington Housing Partnership was established in 1989. We provide quality homes by teaming up with strong community groups and investors to stabilize the neighborhoods in the City of Wilmington. There are several other builders that offer housing in our area, however, we work very hard to ensure buyer's satisfaction and normally sell all of our homes prior to completion. We stand by our work and maintain a continuous relationship with our buyers and the communities
Our Mission
The Mission of the Wilmington Housing Partnership is to collaborate with select private, non-profit and governmental entities to increase the City of Wilmington’s affordable housing stock by promoting renovation/rehabilitation of existing homes and limited construction of new homes in strategically selected areas, while supporting a diverse income strategy.

For over 20 years, the Wilmington Housing Partnership (WHP) has worked to strengthen neighborhoods in danger of deterioration within the City of Wilmington (City). To achieve our goal, WHP works independently or through local non-profit and private partners to acquire, rehabilitate, demolish and construct quality new “affordable” housing for homeownership. By setting high standards for housing, WHP strives to stabilize neighborhoods, increase housing values, and reduce blight in the City of Wilmington.
WHP is a non-profit housing entity separate from the City of Wilmington and the Wilmington Housing Authority with our own staff and Board of Directors. The Wilmington Housing Partnership obtains a majority of our project funding through grants from governments, banks, and foundations.
